This website is operated by Stop The Chop Shop. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Stop The Chop Shop.

These Terms of Service apply when you visit our website, browse our products or purchase an item from us. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Our products

Stop The Chop Shop sells merchandise designed to promote awareness of the importance of protecting trees, wildlife habitat and parklands.

Most of our products are printed or embroidered to order. This means that an item is generally made after an order is placed rather than being held in stock.

Product colours may appear slightly different on different screens. Print positioning and colours may also vary slightly between individual items due to the nature of the printing or embroidery process. These minor variations do not affect your rights if a product is faulty, significantly different from its description or otherwise does not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Overseas fulfilment and separate shipments

Most Stop The Chop Shop products are made to order and fulfilled by third-party production partners located outside Australia.

Depending on the product, stock availability, delivery destination and operational requirements, an order may be produced and dispatched from the United States or another international fulfilment centre.

Estimated production and delivery timeframes will be provided on the relevant product page or during checkout where available. These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Fulfilment locations may occasionally change due to stock availability, production capacity or shipping requirements.

If your order contains products fulfilled from different locations, the items may be dispatched separately, arrive in more than one parcel and be delivered at different times. Tracking information will be provided when available.

3. Delivery timeframes

Our products are printed to order. Estimated production and delivery timeframes are provided as a guide:

• Products typically fulfilled overseas and/or shipped from the USA: please allow approximately 2 weeks for production and delivery within Australia.

These timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Delivery may occasionally take longer due to postal delays, peak periods, customs processing, severe weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will provide tracking information when it becomes available. If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

Please check that your shipping address is correct before submitting your order. Contact us promptly if you notice an error. Once an order has entered production or has been shipped, it may not be possible to change the delivery address.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Any additional fees that may apply to a particular order, such as customs duties or import charges, will be disclosed where relevant before purchase where reasonably possible.

Payment must be completed at checkout using one of the payment methods available on our website.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and give you the option of proceeding at the correct price or receiving a refund.

5. Orders and cancellations

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order.

Because most products are printed or embroidered to order, production may begin soon after an order is placed. If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact us as within 24 hours at hello@stopthechopshop.com.au.

We will try to assist where possible. However, once production has started, we may not be able to cancel or change an order simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may cancel and refund an order if a product becomes unavailable, if there is a genuine pricing or listing error, if payment cannot be processed or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

6. Returns, refunds and faulty products

Our refund and return arrangements are explained in our Refund Policy.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply. Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

If your item is faulty, damaged, significantly different from its description or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact us at hello@stopthechopshop.com.au with your order details and photographs where appropriate. We will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Product availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep product information accurate and up to date. However, garment styles, colours, sizes and fulfilment locations may change or become unavailable.

We may update, discontinue or replace a product at any time. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative or a refund.

8. Campaigns and charitable contributions

Stop The Chop Shop may release products connected with particular environmental or community campaigns.

Where a product purchase contributes to a particular organisation, campaign or cause, the relevant product page or website announcement will explain the contribution clearly. Unless expressly stated, purchasing an item does not mean that any external organisation has endorsed, sponsored or formally partnered with Stop The Chop Shop.

9. Website content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, branding, logos, graphics, artwork, product designs and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Stop The Chop Shop.

You must not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or use our content or designs for commercial purposes without written permission.

You may share links to our website and social-media posts for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Acceptable use of this website

You must not use this website:

• for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;

• to interfere with the security or operation of the website;

• to submit false information;

• to introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material; or

• to infringe the rights of another person or organisation.

We may restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will be published on this website.

The terms that apply to an order are the terms available on our website when the order is placed, unless a change is required by law.

15. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Australia and the applicable laws of Australia.
