The Once They’re Gone Vintage Washed Boxy Tee brings together some of the wildlife that depends on Adelaide’s trees and green spaces — possums, magpies, lorikeets, cockatoos, galahs and bats gathered through the branches of an old gum tree.

At the heart of the design is a simple message: “Once They’re Gone, They’re Gone.”

It’s a reminder that mature trees are more than part of the landscape. They provide food, shelter, nesting places and habitat for wildlife that can’t simply replace them overnight.

The detailed, vintage-style artwork is paired with one of our favourite heavier tees: a 260gsm 100% cotton, enzyme-washed fabric with a soft, worn-in finish. The relaxed boxy cut and dropped shoulders give it an easy streetwear shape without the excessive length of many traditional oversized unisex tees.

The muted washed colourways work particularly well with the earthy browns, greens and warm tones of the wildlife artwork, giving the whole piece the feel of a well-loved vintage nature tee.

Fit & Sizing

This is a relaxed boxy-style unisex tee with generous room through the body and dropped shoulders.

It has a little more length than our Essential Cotton Boxy Tee while still maintaining a modern boxy shape.

For most customers, we recommend starting with your usual size and checking the garment measurements carefully before ordering.

Men who prefer extra room through the chest or body, or who are between sizes, may prefer to size up by one.

Model is 165cm, 54kg and wears a size large.

Please note that slight sizing variations can occur between production batches, so the garment measurements are the best guide when choosing your size.
